A12 AI Low Code Platform is open source

mgm technology partners GmbH is making the source code of the A12 AI Low Code Platform available from 27 May 2026. The Community Edition is now available on openCode and GitHub. The A12 platform has proven itself over many years on highly complex public administration projects, such as ELSTER. A12 enables the creation of complex specialist applications using model-based software development and low code. By opening up the source code, all organisations and companies can now benefit from this experience and operate their applications with digital sovereignty.

The Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernization (BMDS) has concluded the second round of consultations on the Deutschland-Stack. Following the initial launch in the fall of 2025, technology fields such as agent-based and generative artificial intelligence and virtualized infrastructures were further defined. This question was the focus of the "Behörden Spiegel"* web panel "Digital Sovereignty". mgm CEO Hamarz Mehmanesh gave the keynote speech. There was also a presentation of the planned Centre for Digital Sovereignty (ZenDiS) and a discussion round with representatives of the federal government, the state, local authorities and an open source trade association.
