The international software company mgm technology partners GmbH became a new member of the Open Source Business Alliance (OSBA) in April. By joining, mgm is underscoring its long-standing commitment to open source technologies as the foundation for durable enterprise software.

mgm consulting partners GmbH is expanding its management team. With Antje von Garrel, Merle Best and Roman Schleicher, the consulting company of the mgm Group has appointed three experienced consultants with extensive project and industry experience to the extended management team.

IT service provider q.beyond and mgm will cooperate in future in implementing software development projects. The aim is to jointly support medium-sized companies and public-sector organisations in introducing future-proof business applications. Within the A12 partner programme, q.beyond will additionally draw on the platform to develop software for its medium-sized customers.

mgm has entered into a strategic partnership with OpenTalk. OpenTalk offers a secure video conferencing solution based on open source and is part of the Berlin-based Heinlein Group. The goal of the collaboration is to integrate OpenTalk into mgm's A12 enterprise low-code platform to create a comprehensive and easy-to-use video conferencing solution, especially for the public sector.

After winning a major award for the first time, the question inevitably arises: "Can we do it again?" For mgm, this question was answered last night at the IT Awards gala in Augsburg: In the category "Low Code / No Code", mgm won gold and thus 2nd place at the Readers' Choice Awards 2023. The nomination was once again made by the internet portal Dev-Insider.

As part of a long-term partnership, mgm is starting a cooperation with the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Science (WIAI) at the University of Bamberg. The focus is on the recruitment of young talent and the exchange of expertise on current software engineering topics.
