It is one of the most important events for the digital transformation in Germany: the “Digital State”. This year, the congress organized by Behörden Spiegel will take place on April 25 and 26 at the Berlin Congress Centrum (bcc) under the motto “State in transformation: This is where the administration of tomorrow is being created.” Numerous participants from public administration will discuss the latest trends and developments in the field of digital administration. In various specialist forums and discussion panels, they will have the opportunity to show where the digital future has already arrived in everyday life today. Because the same applies to administrative digitization: the future is already here, it’s just unevenly distributed.

Visit us in Lounge 25 (right by the main entrances).
Topics: OZG, Low Code, Register Modernization, Agility, Process Mining and much more.

OZG 2.0 – the digital foundation

Schleswig-Holstein, for example, is already productively using the OZG cloud as the basic infrastructure for applications and specialist applications. The platform, which was developed under an open source license, offers municipalities the ability to process applications from online services independently. The advantages of the OZG Cloud: reduction of workload, collaboration possibility between the individual municipalities as well as forwarding of digital applications to specialist procedures.

In order to map the technical requirements of over 150 municipalities, the project was developed as a cloud system. The EfA solution can be used throughout Germany and can thus be reused. The first pilot projects in other German states have already started.

Register modernization – basis for many digital scenarios

Register modernization is an essential part of the digitization efforts of the federal, state and local governments. Modern registers are the basis for offering administrative services to citizens and companies digitally and for making administrative processes more efficient. However, they are often still kept on paper or in suboptimal processes and generate disproportionately high effort and costs. But here, too, there are forward-looking solutions. The Hanseatic City of Hamburg, for example, has completely digitized its shipping register in an agile project and now benefits from this convenient, secure and future-proof solution.
