Allgeier Inovar develops the Energiepark Manager, a specialized ERP solution for operators of complex energy park structures. When an existing customer requested support for approximately 3,000 tenants, the existing system architecture reached its limits. Together with mgm, Allgeier Inovar is now building a second product on the A12 AI Low Code Plattform — one that meets the functional requirements of this scaling segment while providing the technological foundation for the company’s future product strategy. A proof of concept (PoC) for performance validation has already been developed, and the strategic decision for the platform has been prepared.
Who Is Allgeier Inovar and What Is the Energiepark Manager?
Allgeier Inovar is part of the Allgeier Group and develops industry-specific software solutions. With the Energiepark Manager, the company offers an ERP solution for energy park operators. The solution is based on a conventional cloud platform and has been extended with comprehensive domain logic for energy park management — including the administration of project companies, land parcels, ownership structures, and operational processes.
Why Do Conventional Cloud Solutions Hit Scalability Limits?
The Energiepark Manager is functionally mature and successfully deployed. However, its technical foundation follows a classic multi-tenancy model with strictly separated tenants.
For small and mid-sized customers, this model works well. For larger corporations with complex holding structures and several thousand subsidiaries, however, structural limitations emerge:
- System limits at a few hundred tenants
- High per-tenant licensing costs
- Strong vendor dependency
- Limited flexibility in architecture and further development
An existing customer requested the expansion of the solution to support approximately 3,000 tenants. This made it clear: this scaling segment requires a new technological foundation.
How Is the Scalable Energy Park ERP Being Built on the A12 AI Low Code Plattform?
mgm and Allgeier Inovar jointly developed a proof of concept (PoC) on the A12 AI Low Code Plattform.
The goal of the PoC was to demonstrate that:
- The existing ERP business processes from the Energiepark Manager can be modeled on the platform.
- The multi-tenancy concept performs reliably even with 3,000 tenants.
- Complex holding and ownership structures can be mapped in a clean, structured way.
- Typical energy park use cases (e.g., project status, linked entities, task management) can be implemented efficiently.
Rather than creating a purely technical prototype, the team deliberately built a realistic representation of core business processes.
A further focus was on knowledge transfer:
Allgeier Inovar intends to model and evolve the platform independently in the future. The PoC therefore also served to build an understanding of the architecture, modeling logic, and development paradigms of the A12 AI Low Code Plattform.

Scalable Multi-Tenancy, Cost Reduction, and Technological Independence
The PoC demonstrates:
- Multi-tenancy for several thousand entities is achievable
- Domain-specific ERP processes can be fully mapped
- A scalable architecture as an alternative to the existing ERP foundation
- A basis for reducing licensing costs
- Significantly greater technological independence
The PoC thus delivers more than a technical feasibility study — it provides a robust decision-making basis for Allgeier Inovar’s future product strategy.

Ulrich Zahner, Managing Director at Allgeier Inovar: “With A12, we have found a platform that scales with our requirements. The proof of concept has shown that we can expand our portfolio with a solution that remains performant and economically viable even with several thousand tenants.”
Production Launch by the End of 2026
The successful PoC forms the foundation for the next project phase, which is already underway. Going forward, Allgeier Inovar is pursuing a two-product strategy: The proven Energiepark Manager continues to serve its established customer segment. The new product, built on the A12 AI Low Code Plattform, is specifically aimed at customers with complex holding structures and high scalability requirements. The goal is to create a long-term scalable, economically viable, and technologically independent product architecture that goes into production by the end of 2026.
