The second hackathon at LMUDigiTax took place in November 2023. Topic: Digital-compatible tax laws using the example of special depreciation for heat pumps. For this purpose, Capgemini, in cooperation with mgm, prepared a draft of an enforcement-oriented standard for the special depreciation of heat pumps. This was in turn technically implemented by mgm in cooperation with Capgemini using the Enterprise AI Low Code Platform A12.

The OZG cloud is an innovative solution for the digital transformation in local government. It offers a wide range of functions that help local authorities to process their applications digitally and to communicate in a legally secure manner. The cloud infrastructure enables a highly automated and scalable implementation that simplifies operations for local authorities. The OZG cloud is already being used by some federal states and has the potential to become the standard solution for the digital transformation in local government.

How can administrative services with maturity level 4 be implemented for companies? In a joint workshop of the states of Bavaria, Schleswig-Holstein and mgm, this was demonstrated using the example of the Enterprise Platform Germany (UP-D) at the Smart Country Convention (SCCON).

In public administration, there are many services and projects that are supported by external consultants, and not only due to a lack of resources. But what should this collaboration ideally look like so that, at the end of the project, the administration is able to work sustainably with the structures created? We provide insights into our work and our consulting services for public software projects.

mgm has entered into a strategic partnership with OpenTalk. OpenTalk offers a secure video conferencing solution based on open source and is part of the Berlin-based Heinlein Group. The goal of the collaboration is to integrate OpenTalk into mgm's A12 Enterprise AI Low Code Platform to create a comprehensive and easy-to-use video conferencing solution, especially for the public sector.

The OZG and EfA principles are important initiatives for driving forward the digital transformation of public administration. However, the subsequent operation of digital administrative services requires a new form of collaboration.

This year, the Nordländer Congress will take place in Bremen on October 12, and the motto could hardly be more fitting: "buten un binnen - wagen un winnen". This old motto of the Bremen merchant community shows, even in times of OZG and EfA, that together we can also successfully digitize public administration by looking beyond our own horizons and having the necessary courage.

The success story continues: mgm is able to build on the success of the previous two years and once again receives the coveted Platinum Award in the consultant category. With the annual presentation of its prestigious award, Vogel-IT's trade magazine eGovernment Computing honors exceptional achievements in the field of digital administration.

The modular structure of the funding finder suite provides the basis for a standardised description of funding opportunities, and thus for a better and more user-friendly search. The ‘one for all’ product is now available for all federal states to use in the FIT Store as software as a service (SaaS).

Communication with the Chambers of Tax Consultants has become much easier for the more than 100,000 members: Since September 19, they have been able to use 24 uniform administrative services online in a new application portal. mgm supports the chambers in implementing the OZG project.
