mgm technology partners has become a new member of GovTech Deutschland. By joining, the internationally active software company headquartered in Munich is strengthening its commitment to a high-performing and digitally sovereign public administration. Together with other stakeholders from government and industry, mgm is working to sustainably enhance the state’s capacity to act through modern digital solutions.
GovTech Deutschland aims to sustainably strengthen the state’s capacity to act through the use of innovative technologies. To achieve this, the network brings together public administrations at federal, state, and municipal level as well as start-ups and established companies. The focus is on exchanging best practices and developing practical, modern solutions to enhance the technological independence of the state.
Digital sovereignty is a key priority in this context. In its projects, mgm lays the groundwork for this through open interfaces, modular architectures, and transparent development processes — enabling the public sector to digitalize, manage, and continuously evolve its core digital functions in a self-determined way, for example within the German tax administration and ELSTER. In addition to its own A12 low-code platform, mgm contributes many years of experience in developing complex, business-critical enterprise applications that combine standardization with adaptability. This results in long-lasting solutions that remain viable even in complex, security-critical environments — while actively supporting digital self-determination.
“A capable government needs digital solutions that are reliable, scalable, and sovereign,” says Hamarz Mehmanesh, Managing Director of mgm technology partners. “At GovTech Deutschland, we meet a strong network that pursues exactly this goal. Together, we want to help reduce digital dependencies and sustainably increase the innovative capacity of public administration.”
GovTech Deutschland also welcomes the new member. “GovTech Deutschland thrives on the commitment of its members. We are pleased to welcome mgm as an experienced partner in our ecosystem, where expertise and implementation strength come together,” explains David Steinacker, Head of Partnerships & Ecosystem at GovTech Deutschland. “When it comes to developing sovereign and sustainable IT structures, this wealth of experience is a valuable contribution to our collaboration.”
As a new member, mgm plans to actively participate in working groups, events, and project initiatives. The focus will be on hands-on solutions that enable public administrations to design digital processes independently and operate them sustainably over the long term.
