As part of an EU-wide tender to conclude framework agreements for low-code implementation resources, mgm technology partners GmbH has been awarded a contract for nationwide digitization projects with its A12 development platform. mgm consulting and implementation services related to the A12 platform are now available to federal, state, and local government agencies.
The federal framework agreement gives public administrations full access to low-code technologies that enable the rapid development of digital applications and automated processes. “We are very pleased about this significant step in the digitization of public administration. With A12, a German low-code platform is now part of the framework agreement via mgm – a strong signal for digital sovereignty,“ says Hamarz Mehmanesh, Managing Director of mgm. ”Right now, it is particularly important that we specifically strengthen and strategically bundle the expertise and capacities available in Germany in order to drive forward the digital transformation.”
A12 Low Code: Developed with the administration – for the administration
The A12 low-code platform was developed in close cooperation with the German tax administration and has been established in public administration for years. One of the best-known projects is ELSTER.
A12 offers public authorities an efficient way to develop digital applications quickly and flexibly. Even without in-depth programming knowledge, specialist procedures can be digitally mapped, processes automated, interfaces integrated, and user-friendly solutions designed. This shortens development times and reduces costs. Standardized modules ensure consistent quality and security, while individual adjustments can be made at any time. This gives public authorities not only technical independence, but also the agility they need for the digital administration of tomorrow.
The low-code platform A12 is based exclusively on open source components and thus supports public authorities and institutions in implementing digital sovereignty. As a contribution to independent, secure, and sustainable digitization in Germany, mgm is currently preparing the open source release of the A12 platform. The release will take place in close coordination with customers and partners from public administration.
