The recruitment of qualified young talent is one of the key challenges in the tax profession. Firms compete for apprentices, dual-study students, and working students — young target groups that expect modern, digital, and transparent information offerings. Against this backdrop, the Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants (Bundessteuerberaterkammer), together with mgm technology partners, has further developed a platform that centrally consolidates the administration and publication of training positions, internships, and working student positions as well as recruitment events for young professionals.
Numerous Chambers of Tax Consultants and hundreds of firms use the solution to efficiently place their offerings and reach new target groups in a targeted manner. This makes the exchange far more than a technical tool: it represents a central building block of the nationwide skilled workforce initiative for tax consulting, is specifically aimed at Generation Z, and brings together relevant activities under one digital roof.
Starting Point: Recruiting Young Talent Requires Digital Reach
The existing job exchange was historically grown, distributed, technically inconsistent, and only partially geared toward young target groups. At the same time, the Chambers of Tax Consultants require reliable structures with clear review and approval processes, centralized quality assurance, and transparent responsibilities.
Modern outreach to young professionals goes beyond traditional job postings: training fairs, career events, and university formats also need to be digitally captured and published. From this need emerged an integrated, scalable solution that combines administration, quality assurance, and target-group-oriented publication.

The Solution: Job and Event Exchange Directly Within the Chamber Portal
The new training position exchange is closely integrated into the nationwide recruitment image campaign centered on the profession of tax clerks (Steuerfachangestellte). Interested candidates can search for training positions, internships, and working student positions and submit applications directly from the listings.
Firms enter their offerings independently via the new training and working student exchange, which has been directly integrated into the existing application and service portal of the Chambers of Tax Consultants. They can enhance their listings with modern content: images, logos, videos, social media profiles, or links to external application portals. A structured digital review and approval process ensures the quality of published content, which is then automatically distributed across relevant platforms.
Since the relaunch, training positions — including those within study models or retraining programs —, working student positions, and internships can be posted, updated, and extended nationwide.
“The modernized job listing form enables expanded presentation options, including firm logos, additional images, YouTube links, social media profiles, and the integration of external applicant portals.”

Added Value Beyond Job Listings: Making Events Visible
The platform also supports the digital administration and publication of regional events for recruiting young talent, such as:
- Training and career fairs
- Job and information days
- Workshops and university events
- Regional recruitment formats
Standardized data entry ensures better discoverability and consistent quality. Through connected channels, events are automatically distributed across various websites and partner platforms.
Technological Implementation: Model-Driven and Extensible
The solution is based on the model-driven, flexibly extensible architecture of the A12 Enterprise AI Low Code Platform. Forms, validation rules, and publication logic can be flexibly configured and adapted as needed. New position types, additional data fields, or further output channels can be added without fundamental system changes.
Standardized interfaces enable the integration of external portals and partner offerings. Address data can be automatically processed and displayed cartographically, which further enhances user-friendliness.
Security and Data Protection
From the outset, data protection, access security, and content integrity were a central focus. Protected access procedures, controlled publication processes, and mechanisms to prevent misuse and spam ensure a secure environment for firms, chambers, and applicants.
Quality, Stability, and Scalability
Extensive testing of the user interface, process logic, and interfaces was conducted for the operation of the platform. The solution performs reliably even with a high volume of listings and events.
Firms benefit from intuitive data entry and free-of-charge publication of their offerings; Chambers of Tax Consultants benefit from centrally managed distribution across various channels. Young professionals reach relevant offerings through target-group-oriented platforms.
“With the relaunch of the training and internship position exchange of the Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants, a long-overdue modernization has been successfully implemented. The job exchange now meets the current requirements of the applicant market and effectively supports tax consultants in recruiting young talent.”
Hanna Wolf draws a positive conclusion.
Conclusion: A Scalable Best-Practice Model
The digital training position exchange combines the promotion of young talent, process quality, and modern platform architecture. The combination of integrated data entry, quality-assured publication processes, and target-group-oriented distribution creates measurable added value for all stakeholders.
“The collaboration with the digital agency mgm was excellent. The project was implemented professionally; in particular, the coordination of multiple partners and the handling of challenges were carried out in a structured, solution-oriented, and successful manner.”
